If its new to you then its new right? That seems to sum up multi-touch devices today. Since the recent unavailing of the iPhone it almost feels like Apple invented a new form of interaction - but far from it. The road had been paved with massive amounts of R&D for many years now.

Bill Buxton is a good example of a man who gives credit where credit is due. I don’t know much, but I do know last night after hearing Andy Wilson, Researcher at Microsoft Research, and then running into Steve Bathiche, R&D Program Manager in Microsoft Hardware, I’ve since been inspired to drum up some cool bits of information.

    Since I’ve kind of used this as a reference tool rather than a discussion, maybe it would be better to have a more in-depth article about your perspective to all these things. After all, you’re by far one of the most invested individuals in this community. While we all have links and references, it would be great to more comprehensively see it through your eyes.

    Sounds like time and work, if you got those, by all means!
