Just another Seattle Manik Monday
So recently I went to a gallery opening in support of my talented skateboarder / filmer / bartender / photographer / producer cousin, Mr. Marshal ‘Stack’ Reid. While I was in there, I ran into the whole Manik / Goods / Luxe Riot crew and got the latest haps.
Marshal has just debuted his third skateboarding film entitled, Splash down at the ShowBox. I’d encourage you to watch the trailer, check out the review over at skateboarding.com, then pick up a copy at your local skate shop or online store. Previous videos included What Is, and my favorite, Urban Rubble in which marshall films a friend skating the Kingdome roof before it’s destruction. I guess all you need is a hard hat to make them think you’re with the demolition crew. Currently you can find Marshall skating around the world, hanging out with Bam Margera’s Dad, or bar tending down at Temple Billiards in Pioneer Square.
If you’ve been to Goods lately, you may have noticed that they’ve expanded the store on 1112 pike @ Boren. Things look like they have been on a steady incline since the first day I met Nin over the Luxe Riot website. Eric’s been rockn’ the screen printing, and Christa informs me of a new clothing line Maidennoir that you can pick up at Goods or Asia! How’s that for expansion?
Can’t wait to see what’s going to come out of that group next!
